Getting started
How long does it take to set up Comandator?
You'll have everything ready in just a few days: digital menu, POS and users configured. You can do it yourself, or ask a specialist to guide you step by step.
Do I need to build the QR menu myself?
You don't need to type anything. Upload a photo of your current menu and AI digitizes it in minutes, with dishes, prices and allergens ready for you to review and publish.
How many devices can I use at the same time?
The number of simultaneous devices (POS, handheld ordering, kitchen display) depends on your plan. You can add more devices at any time as your business grows.
Do I need special hardware to use Comandator?
No. Comandator works on any tablet, phone or computer with a web browser, and also in a Windows app designed for the bar POS. It connects to standard thermal printers and cash drawers, so in many cases you can reuse the equipment you already have.
Does it work if the internet connection drops?
Yes. The POS keeps selling even if the connection fails and syncs everything as soon as it's back. The digital menu and your guests' QR orders do need a connection on the guest's phone.
Can I order the hardware (POS, handhelds, printers) from you?
Yes, from the POS plan. When you sign up on the pricing page or from the Shop in your panel, you choose the hardware and the units you need. It isn't paid at that moment: our team contacts you to make sure it's the right hardware for your venue.
Features
Can I customize the menu and prices whenever I want?
Yes, you can edit dishes, prices, photos and availability instantly from the admin panel, and the change is reflected right away on the digital menu and the POS.
Does Comandator comply with current regulations (Verifactu, allergens)?
Yes. Comandator is already compatible with Verifactu and lets you manage allergens and nutritional information on the menu, in several languages.
Does Comandator help me get more reviews?
Yes, your business gains visibility inside the Comandator app, and you can easily direct happy customers to leave a review on Google.
What do I need to enable the reservation manager?
The reservation manager is included in the Titanium plan, and you can also add it as an optional feature from the Aluminum plan. You just need to set up your zones and service hours.
Does it have a loyalty program?
Yes, you can create promotions and a loyalty program to reward repeat customers, available depending on your plan.
Is Comandator just a POS or a complete management platform?
It is a complete platform that includes the POS as one of its 17 modules. A traditional POS takes payments and little else; Comandator brings together POS, handheld ordering, kitchen display, digital menu, table and online ordering, website, bookings, promotions, loyalty, daily menu, stock, invoices, reports, multi-location, time tracking and Verifactu in a single database.
Can I manage several venues from one account?
Yes. The multi-location module lets you control all your restaurants from one account, with a shared or separate menu per venue, users and role-based permissions, and analytics per venue or combined. It is built for chains and restaurant groups.
Does it integrate with Glovo, Just Eat or Uber Eats?
Comandator focuses on your own channel: an ordering website for take-away and delivery with no per-order commission, online payment and orders straight to the kitchen. That way you don't depend on aggregators or their commissions to sell online.
Pricing
Is there a free plan?
No. Every plan is paid: the digital menu from €9.99 per month (VAT excluded) and the POS from €49.90. Check all plans and build yours on the pricing page.
What does the Digital Menu plan include?
The Digital Menu plan, €9.99 per month (VAT excluded), includes your QR digital menu created from a photo with AI, allergens, translation into 10 languages and your own website.
How much do paid plans cost?
Paid plans start from €9.99 per month (VAT excluded) and are cumulative: each tier adds features on top of the previous one.
Do the plans have a minimum term?
The Digital Menu and POS plans have no minimum term. From the Aluminio plan, implementation guided by our team is included and, in return, there is a minimum term of 2 months. All the conditions appear in the contract you accept before paying.
What is implementation and how much does it cost?
It is the service in which our team sets up the menu, dining room and printers with you so you can start working as soon as possible. On the Digital Menu and POS plans it is an optional one-off payment, priced on the pricing page; from the Aluminio plan it is included.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. With annual billing you only pay 11 instalments instead of 12, in a single charge at the start of each year. You can also pay month by month with your card.
Do prices include VAT?
No. All prices on the website exclude VAT, which is added to each charge according to current legislation. Comandator issues the corresponding invoice for every payment.

What support do I have if something goes wrong?
Support 24/7: Sarah, our AI assistant, instantly solves the most common questions by chat and WhatsApp. The human team is available Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00, and a technician covers urgent issues in the evening and on public holidays, such as a system outage or printing failures.
Will you help me move from my previous POS?
Yes. With advanced implementation we plan with you the data migration from your previous system, multi-location management and any specific integrations you need, according to the size of your business.
