Our story
Born from an overwhelmed restaurant
Comandator was born from a very specific experience: a restaurant overwhelmed by paper orders, menus that never got updated in time, and nights where the operation was always one step behind the service.
The idea finally took shape at a dinner with friends: the waiters were overwhelmed and we had to wait longer than usual to order. While we waited, the question that started it all came up: how could we help venues solve this problem? We knew a good solution would not only improve customer service, it could also increase sales.
That's where the idea came from: bringing hospitality and technology together in a single product. Software that doesn't just take payments, but helps you sell more, control every corner of the business, and stay compliant without extra effort for people who already have enough on their plate running the floor.
Behind Comandator is Daw Tech, S.L., a company based in Las Rozas de Madrid, made up of people who have worked in the dining room, in the kitchen and in software development, and who keep listening every day to the businesses using the platform to keep improving it.
